Starbucks Reserve Bangkok Chao Phraya Riverfront should be on every Bangkok itinerary if you enjoy great city views and cafes. The ambiance is perfect for anything, from getting some work done, chatting with friends, or just relaxing by yourself!
Starbucks Reserve Bangkok Chao Phraya Riverfront is located on the 7th floor of ICONSIAM, one of the largest shopping malls in Asia, which opened to the public on November 9th, 2018. It is next to the Chao Phraya River, (Bangkok’s main river) and has more than 7,000 shops, 100 restaurants, and even a floating market. It is open daily from 11am-9pm.
The outdoor deck of the Starbucks Reserve has a beautiful view of the Bangkok skyline and Chao Phraya river. Bangkok is known for its constant humidity and heat, and most guests opt to stay inside in the AC, rather than on the outdoor deck, but it’s really worth taking a couple minutes to enjoy the view outside. If you plan on just taking photos for a few minutes, it can also work as a free observation deck as well, but if you planning to sitting down, or stay longer, be sure to support Starbucks!
The price is around the same price range as Starbucks in the US which is a little insane considering the low cost of living and the prices of everything else in Bangkok. A tall cup of coffee is around 150 baht (~$4) which seems like a good price until you realize that you can get street food that’ll fill you up for around 50 baht ($1.30).
This Starbucks reserve is definitely one of the most spacious and well-designed Starbucks I have visited. It consists of 2 floors with high ceilings and beautiful decor. I only visited during the daytime but would love to see how beautiful it would look during sunset or nighttime.
They have exclusive merchandise, drinks, and food that can be only found at this store. I got one of their signature desserts, the espresso choc chip brownie set, and the brownie was especially so tasty! Their menu at this reserve is so extensive, that they even have meals like pasta, flatbreads, soup, and cheese platters!
You should definitely take a stop at Starbucks Reserve Bangkok Chao Phraya Riverfront to admire the views of Bangkok and relax for a couple of hours. With its convenient location and late closing time, it’ll be a perfect combination after a long day shopping and eating at ICONSIAM.
