Daikanyama is a recently popular location for people who want to get a little away from busy Shibuya. Visitors can enjoy an elegant and relaxing shopping mall with many stores, restaurants and cafes to shop/eat at.
Doyoung and Taeyong stopped by STARBUCKS COFFEE Daikanyama Tsutaya Books to order an iced latte and iced americano and sat at a relaxing outdoor sitting area in front of Starbucks.
They then went to eat at “Ivy Place” which was seen behind them the whole time at the outside eating area and ordered a bunch of plates including Today’s pizza, grilled chicken, and iced tea. They seemed to really enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Haechan, Yuta, and Mark roamed around Harajuku, and Omotesando, having a hard time picking where to eat. They were seen in front of Omotesando Hills, a high-end retail shopping, debating whether on eating there, but then decided not to. They are even seen eyeing MOMI&TOY’S, a crepe place before ultimately deciding to eat at Roast Beef Ohno Harajuku.
Jungwoo and Jaehyun headed to Harajuku’s Mame shiba cafe. This themed cafe is located in Takeshita Dori, one of Harajuku’s most busy streets. It has many j-pop and k-pop inspired stores, so it’s not a surprise they found a cardboard stand of themselves in front of one of its stores.
They rented out the whole cafe which made it seem like Shiba Inu paradise to the two members, but in reality, when I went to this cafe a few years ago, it was overcrowded with people and not enough dogs. The dogs also seemed not too friendly and were fighting with each other. There were times where they were cute and relaxed but most times, they weren’t too responsive to people and always sat by themselves.
It was still a very fun experience, but just be aware that you won’t have the same amount of dogs Jaehyun had on him. The max amount of dogs a group might have is 2-3.
