Aoyama Flower Market Review – The prettiest cafe in Tokyo!

Aoyama flower market combines the elegance of plants and flowers and combines it with a cafe! Aoyama Flower Market was born in 1989 in Tokyo’s Aoyama neighborhood. With its concept of living with Flowers Every Day, the company promotes a lifestyle emphasizing well-being through surrounding oneself with flowers and touches of greenery.

They currently have 3 locations. Minami-Aoyama main store, Atre Kichijoji store and Akasaka Biz Tower store. I have been to the latter 2, the Atre Kichijoji and Akasaka Biz Tower locations. If you visit during the weekend, be ready to wait around 20 minutes before getting seated.

Akasaka Biz Tower store had an outside seating area as well as a very cozy inside eating area. I really liked the relaxing vibe it gave it and really felt like you weren’t in the middle of the city. Atre kichijoji

It was very difficult to find this cafe due to it being in a mall, but once you head down to B1, you’ll easily spot it due to the insane amounts of plants and flowers. There’s a lot happening since the cafe doesn’t have real barriers to block out the rest of the mall.

All the cafes are truly elegant with flowers being decorated at every corner of your eyes. It’s really a great place to relax and sip some tea. Every table has decorations of flower that gives the table a bit of a nice pop. Their menu mostly consists of bread items and teas and can be a bit pricey, food ranging from 900-1500 yen. They are masters of bringing out the natural flavors of florals and vegetables to their dishes.
